Of course! While you may not know anything about rockets in particular you may have transferable skills such as general coding knowledge, social media management experience, an interest in space law. All are fantastic ways to join the team.
Definitely not! We have teams from every ANU College within the ANU Rocketry team. You can check out our business team; Marketing and outreach, and partnerships and budget or our safety and legal team for some more non-STEM opportunities.

You will gain hands-on experience in the workshop, experience launching and building your own rocket at a live launch range and most importantly the opportunity to meet like-minded people (plus so many more amazing things we can’t list right now otherwise we will be here forever).
At a member each team member is expected to committee at minimum 5 hours per week, however this does include your weekly team meeting.
We are partnered with a number of top companies within Australia who often bring opportunities to us. Alongside this it is the perfect chance to gain leadership experience in a positive environment and work within a team towards an end goal.
